I started this Journey with the intent to learn and grow. I'd hoped my
children and I would become closer to each other, that we would discover the wonders of our beautiful country, and anticipated
each of us finding our own meaningful way to connect to the Creator, or as Christians call "Him," God. When
I headed into the deep south "Bible Belt" I expected the opposite to happen; that it would be a stagnant pool for
spiritual growth. I was wrong.
People like G.W. Carver and Martin Luther King, Jr. rejuvinated my belief
that Every Living Thing is linked to God, and to each other, and has a right to be so. Then, visiting Ocmulgee
confirmed it. Even back then people knew; "We are all conncected."
MLK, Jr. did some mighty powerful stuff in his time, and downtown Atlanta (especially his grave site)
is buzzing with that energy. G.W.Carver too, was an amazing human, and to learn of his humble beginnings
and his undaunted service to humanity was inspiring!
So, whether standing in front of MLK, Jr.'s grave, on top of the great mound at Ocmulgee, or in a
museum loaded with Carver's works, the feeling of being plugged into One Source, or Spirit, was overwhelming.
As we sat in Florida for a month - enjoying both the warmth of the sun and the company of friends
- the past experiences fed more feul into the fire of our spiritual growth. Then came time to move into the
next chapter of our Journey - to see where Spirit would send us and what we learn....

Besides visiting our friends, we spent time doing everthing we hadn't done
before leaving Florida nine months ago; like camping at Everglades National Park. PK's friend Ty got to come along
too and hang around the gators!
With all the theme parks, beach time, and visiting we did it's always
the wildlife (or scenery) that demands to be captured on film then posted on the website. Florida has some crazy birds, and
some really awesome dolphins! I never get tired of seeing them...ever.
I also had many spiritual awakenings in Melbourne, as I had when I had lived there for two
years - serious downloading of information through the connection to Oneness. What does it all mean? I'll continue the
Journey to discover the answers. And, I'll keep you posted....
